Now that I've read comments 3 & 4 several times I still don't know what the capacitor noise supressor or diode looks like. Got any pictures that might be of use?
Well it wasn't the horn relay. Pulled the horn fuse and relay. Installed the new relay and was rewarded with a honk when the fuse made contact. Moving to the headlight switch and horn button area.
Great pictures. Looks like it was a lot of fun to participate. With all the MV's running around the Los Angeles area I'm surprised there wasn't a similar parade here.
I drive my M1009 when I won't be carpooling with my wifey. She likes the climate control of my other truck. Or she is just a little embarrassed to ride in it?
I'm in the same situation with my M1009. The click is gone. I've been running with the high beams on at night for about a year now. No one seems to notice though. If someone orders a replacement switch please post the part number so I can go shopping.
It seems that Texas is the Mecca for trucks. That truck would have long ago been recycled into a Hyundai or a Chinese toaster out here in California. You sure have the makings for a sweet CUCV.
There may be enough Jeeps, SUVs, pickups and ATVs with winches to pull him out. Just Imagine 20 or 30 winch lines connected to a 923. I would look like the cables behind my TV.
Just as I feared... after looking at my work schedule I won't be able to attend this year. Blisters I can't remember how I got out there last time. I do remember that it took some time.
