I bought mine a month after this thread started (mid October, 2012). Private seller, w/ winch, soft top for $2500. Just needed a jump start cause it sat for a year. But I did need to replace the air pack and master cylinder... Still though, good deals are out there, just need to do some diggin'...

Yeah. I think some of my past little paint jobs I was a bit heavy handed. No runs, but prob could've laid out some dryer coats to finish up after getting good coverage. I know the texture aids in the "flattening effect". I need more patience :-D Thanks Steve. It was good meeting you at Sussex...

I'm very interested. I just bought the works for A3 upgrade and would love to replace all the hard lines and flex... $300-$400 would prob be the ballpark I could play in though...
