It would work. With top and bows you would just need to measure the cubic feet of volume that it would hold. Understand that its a 12 foot bed, not a 24 foot uhaul and the inside heigth is much different in a deuce. You must make sure you compare apples with apples so you dont shortchange...

Changed out the transmission fluid yesterday on the Kaiser Jeep M35A2, added new fluid and a bottle of Lucas transmission stuff. We will see how it does. The fluid that came out was dark like used motor oil.

Not sure. To this date I have had no problems. The pump in a deuce also blends the tank contents and circulates whats in there. That might help. Not sure.

Yamabro, I have had no problems with the congealing issue as long as you stay away from hygrodginated oil (sp ?). I run clean, filtered soybean oil. Stay away from the hydroginated stuff, it can congeal and thicken and clump.
