There's a section of road in Shreveport that causes my truck to seesaw and buck side to side. It gets interesting fast. I don't really have a good solution to offer. I just feel your pain.

O ok. Sorry I read that wrong. I don't know if marine grease is necessarily better but since these trucks have drum brakes I don't think it will be an issue.

I believe mine is like rustys but I haven't even seen my truck in a month. If it's bolted I don't see why you couldn't remove it. Although, I can see it being a royal pain to get to some of the bolts.

Why did you put marine grease on one bearing and standard bearing grease on the other? Not all greases are compatible with each other.

Mine is a bolt in but it doesn't look like that. More like a piece of channel iron flipped on its back.

The silicone boots resist grease and dry rotting fairly well. However, they will rip because it's Tuesday.

I don't see why they wouldn't work. Just be sure to put in a good thermostat and circuit protection.

You need to force kerosene through a nozzle to turn it into a mist. Then burn the mist. Have you considered using electric water heater elements?

Nah just start a nice fire under the storage tank. That should cook the water out.
