    No Lights! Help please...

Check for a good connection on the terminals in the fuse block for the headlight fuse. I have a loose terminal on mine in the M1009 and it'll kill all the same stuff you metioned. My alternator belt squeals on my M1008 until the glow plugs fully cycle off, BUT its because the belt is...

Toy hauler or travel trailer towing with an A2?

I agree that having a place to get in out of the sun at the track is nice. I have a 20ft Pace Shadow that I use (motorcycle roadracing) with A/C and heat, tool boxes, TV, Microwave, etc. But pulling it behind a duece would be painfully slow if you had to travel very far at all. After an 8hr...

    M818 recovery questions.

You can use either posts or studs. The stud version have higher cranking amps I believe.

    M818 recovery questions.

Suplimental Coolant Additives (had to google that one myself) From what I read, looks like antifreeze used to need SCA packages added to them for diesel application to up the nitrate level to help prevent wet sleeve cylinder cavitation, which apparantly caused liner problems. The nitrates...

    M818 recovery questions.

That is a valid point, although the NDT's don't pick up rocks they could still flip them up on your TJ.

    Gin Poles Finished

Also........we designed a simple attachment that will allow the winch to raise and lower the poles completely. We'll get pics and maybe a video up as soon as the final design is built.

    Where is the member map?

I agree that the member map needs to be added to the new site and brought up to date. I'm planning a trip to the DC area in May and would like to know who is nearby.

I doubt that Lee will have the key anyway, but I'll ask.

    M818 recovery questions.

There is a good chance, I'll ask SGT Lee if he has keys to it, but I doubt it, bring your bolt cutters with ya, it'll be like Christmas! I couldn't tell what was in there, but it was full of stuff.

    M818 recovery questions.

Don't sweat it too much, you'll be fine. I'm going to be out there Monday to pick up a truck, I'll check the brakes while I'm there, if I have the time I'll try to start it up. Don't get too carried away with buying parts, its not like your going to the desert to recover this truck, there is a...

    Adjusting the steering wheel position

You can straighten it with the drag link, but I'd double check the center of your steering box. Count your turns lock to lock then divide by two and find center, then take notice the steering wheel position vs. wheel position, just to make sure that its not off alot. I've seen guys adjust the...

    NP 208 Slip Yolk Eliminator

Say NO to the "hack and tap" kits. Get a true SYE kit, its not too hard swap the shaft out I'm running a SYE on my YJ with a double cardan slip shaft, one of the best mods I've done on it. Ofcourse with that setup (double cardan) you'll have to set your pinion angle @ -4 degree down from...

    M1009 driver side engine noise

Kinda sounds like the flex plate, I just had to replace mine and it started the same way, a rattle and a slight bad bearing feeling in the floor board, then it got more frequent(would come and go depending on load on the motor)...... then all hell broke loose and I thought I trashed the...
