Has anyone straight piped their NHC-250. I'm debating on it, just can't find any hard facts on how it will affect the non-turbo motor. Does anyone have any knowledge on non-turbo diesels and the affects of low backpressure?

I noticed that the front axle in one of my deuces has a depot rebuild tag on it, the tag also says that its has a 6.44 ratio. Has anyone ever seen 6.44's in a deuce? I'll try to remember to read the tags on the rear tomorrow.

The DOT 5 (silicone brake fluid) is the culprit to the rusting lines. Since silicone fluid does not obsorb water/moisture out of the system, the moisture will pool up in the low spots of the system, especially the calipers or wheel cylinders, which is bad because the boiling point of water is so...

Is there a way to tell which motor is in the truck by the aircleaner placement? Some of the last trucks went for 3500-3900.

Just noticed that the recovery rings have been removed and hung on the grill.......it must have been towed to its current position. Anything I need to look for when I go to pick it up, I'm planning on driving it back. Never owned an 818, so any info would be greatly appreciated.
