Why does the switch on the left need to be momentary?

Mine does the same, I was looking at it today trying to figure out if it was broke or not....anyone know? On my tuck the one on the right works but the one on the left wll go back to center when I let go of it.

Thanks for the update, I straight piped mine a couple weeks ago, without a turbo it barks pretty loud, with a hard top it isn't bad with the windows up....LOL I build two flanged 90's with a small section of flex pipe, added a hanger to the bottom of the J pipe and it looks OEM.

:ditto: I'm ready to see some of these projects finished. So far there is a turbo install and two motor swaps in the works but not done, or at least no progress reports.

The thermostat should maintain the engine temp, I drove the deuce around a little today and once it got up to temp it stayed, the 818 does the same. Check the thermostat, not too sure if the housing uses a gasket or O-ring, but you may want to source out the parts before you tear it down...
