When I bought it, my 803A had 18 hours on it (unit was reset) and it's a 2007.
I'm considering buying a higher hour or older unit for replacement parts. Are there certain year ranges that have near 100% compatability of parts for my 2007?
I, like many others, have the manuals in PDF form. But I'm a much better learner when watching a video since it's got audio and visual stimulus. So.... I think it would be a cool idea if someone here would make a YouTube video or DVD or something that they could sell. First one would be...
That's awesome, glad it worked out for you.
I get a ton of questions when folks see mine on the trailer in the yard. They just keep walking around and looking at it. They're astonished when they see the sticker saying the military paid about $26K for it. LOL.
I just searched the manual and...
Hi.
So if it's a 10kW generator, then my math is telling me that at max (10kW) usage, I'd need a ~85A wire (10,000W/120V = 83.33A) If so, for a distance of about 20 feet from my generator to the connector on the house, what wire should I use? My Google-fu is finding that it should be 3GA wire...
Hi guys,
Nope, I wasn't in a big hurry. I wanted to optimize the time I had - only two days. My theory was such: travel down on Sunday since it's already a "day off", sleep in hotel so I can get up fresh and early, get to the pickup spot, do inspection, and start driving before I hit work-day...
Made it home after 10 hours. I kept it between 65 and 70 and had no problems at all. Only mistake was going through New York City instead of PA.
I have to say, the GP/IP guys down in Chambersburg really have their act together. I pulled in and there were two other folks waiting to pick up...
Thanks
Thanks for all the replies. I think I'm now confident that I can keep it around 65-70 based on the condition when I see it tomorrow AM.
I'm in the hotel after a 9 hour drive. It was a good long distance burn-in for my new pickup truck.
Now I'm saying a prayer that the generator is the...
Do you happen to know the lug nut size for a HMMWV? I'm assuming it's the same as this trailer since they both use the same 8 lug, 16.5 inch tire. And I'm bringing a spare HMMWV tire I bought, just in case. I just need to know what size socket to take.
Hi,
I just bought one at auction and am leaving to tow it home.
The data plate says the trailer is NSN 2330-01-387-5424, and the TM is TM 9-2330-392-14&P.
The TM says max road speed is 55 MPH, but is that max rated speed underrated or realistic?
I'm wondering if anyone has towed it faster...
Hi,
I was the winning bidder of a combo MEP-803A on a NSN 2330-01-387-5424 trailer. I read the TM on the trailer (http://www.liberatedmanuals.com/TM-9-2330-392-14-and-P.pdf) and it says its top road speed is 55 MPH. Is that really the fastest I should drive with it, or is that only if the...
Would the plywood extend past the tip of the down tailgate?
I guess I'm trying to figure out how feasible it would be to haul 4x8 sheets without worrying about them falling off.
Hi,
I'm thinking of buying an M1102, but I'm wondering what the internal dimensions are between the wheel wells and front to back.
Basically, could you fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat on the floor, while having the tail up and secured?
TIA!
