Guys I ran out of lights tonight. I want to thank everyone who bought them from me. I wish I had another case or 2. One good thing was I got to talk and pm with a lot of people who i would have never spoke with. This is a great site with a good bunch of guys. Dudley
This is a great job of documentation. Plenty of questions have been asked in the past and I think you answered most. Once again thanks for a very useful post...
GL is a privately owned company. They don't need any help slowing down. Its been a while since they pulled all of the trucks from the auctions, sending us in a panic. I think we are due for one of those shutdowns anytime...
I think that where the truck did its tour has a lot to do too. We see trucks at FT Meade that has been attached to some units in the Balto and DC area guard units and they are trashed. I went out to Iowa and picked up 4 of the most pristine deuces I have ever seen hit GL. One was a depot rebuild...

Welcome to the site. These trucks are like any other 25+ year old trucks, that were owned and driven by 18 year old soldiers. Read about the 6.2 on the various threads we have. Rust is an issue depending on were the truck was located. They are nice trucks.
Thanks for the kind words guys. These are really nice lights. My son put a used set on his deuce a year ago, that he got at Aberdeen. I was blown away at how bright they were.
Remember that you have 2 hot wires. One is for low and one is for high. No ground needed, since its grounds through the...
Just got back from breakfast. We are growing in numbers. It was a nice day out. Had maybe 10MV's. There are more wives and GF's showing up which is good that it is a family thing and a day away from the kitchen. Thanks to everyone who made it. It is good that we get together and just talk. ATD
I think people like these because they were cheap and very avaliable at one time. You can pick these up for 100 bucks a wheel if you look around. They are easy to use and probably the best game in towm when looking for a wheel to mount larger tires on. You will not kill yourself with these like...
