I'm getting ready to put G177s on my deuce bobber (dual rears). This is the information I needed to hear. Hey Dipstick, is your deuce bobber sitting on G177s? Is your bed 8' or 9'? We are doing ours with the stock bed shortened to 9' - do you have any pics you can share?

They would be comparable to atvs, I would think - and there were quite a few of them on the trails the other year. The only problem is that you would have to haul it to the trail head, which is about 10-15 miles away.

Do ya'll think there is any need for a "For sale/trade/wanted" thread for this show/rally? I'm sure there will be more people talking about coming as the show gets closer, but right now the sale thread might just get lost on the forum. What do you think?

Other than the flyer, no. Brother and I are going to Jim Henry's on Thursday to get a few parts if the weather is ok by then - I'll see if he can tell me anything else. Did Cabel say he was coming on the other thread?

Oh well, and I'm sure that the 9" wide tires wouldn't play well on 5" wide rims.

Hey 3d, The 'a1 runs 7.00x16 NDCC, 5 lug wheels - I don't know what the m37 bolt pattern is, but 9.00x16s would look bad azz on the 'a1 if you had a little lift on it! Now you have me thinking. I wonder if anyone has mounted 9x16s on 'a1 rims or if they would even work?

I wish there was a trail a little closer. The ones we went on were about 10 miles away. I'm not a rock crawler, and there were a bunch of rocks.

Yeah, but he did tag that new bed cover with a tree one trail. He did real good for his first time offroad - AND his passenger had a broke leg!

Oh yeah, the Jeep will definately be there - maybe the deuce if we finish it. The trails that I have seen are for smaller vehicles like pickup trucks and Jeep size.
