Tranny is slang for transmission or to be more specific a Spicer 3530.
It was in responce to the pic above with the hoist made of 2x4s.
I wonder if the thought of doing a "tranny" in your deuce made you a little excited?
Hello,I have a M35 and am looking to move up to a 5 ton. I was wondering what your pros and cons might be? Any advice in my hunting for said elusive beast.
Thank you,
Jeremy
Hello all,
I was shifting from 1st to 2nd and the stick had a bit of resistance,,but it happens quite a bit. I then let out the clutch and the tranny seemed to bined and the truck almost stalled as it slid to a halt, very quickly! I took off the top of the tranny and the forks are not bent...
Going back to the original question. I would run it on the sweat and tears of the hippies and tree huggers I would be passing, because their hybrids got stuck on a fallen pine cone or swamped by the first 6'' of water they encounterd.

I use mine to "manage" the saplings and old pine trees around my property. My wife uses it to get the grocerys, and I pulled a tractor out of a mud hole today:roll:.But the best use for my Deuse is an anti depressant.:-D
I have a mixture of Used tranny fluid,UMO,Diesel and a little gas.I was wondering if I could run it through a remote oil filter and then a fule filter, and have good results? Would the fule be filterd good enough to run in my Multifule without adverse effects on my filters and IP?
I was wondering if the M35 with the Whites have Glow plugs? Every other Diesel that I own have a button or toggle that I use to warm them up.
I was just wondering.
