Id say swap sounds like you did drop a valve . Last time i did it cracked the cyclinder and that one was shot swap it then tear into the bad one when you get home may have some good used parts or a decent rebuilder . 2cents2cents

you dont need to buy a dually front when the only difference is the spacers that are stock on the dually axle are avalibe thru chev or ford and bolt in place its the same axle and hubs.
