The military would modify those trailers into whatever the needed them to do. I dont see any reason why we should feel bad for modifying surplus equipment.
These trailers are always underrated I dont think you will have a problem.
Good luck. post pics.
I have these on the bobbed unit I am finishing up. they are nice because of the extra offset helps with the rubbing issue on the front with 395s and larger tires. Plus they look cool. Right now i have 7 and need one more for my next project. Are you interested in selling one?
Good luck on finding a goat and welcome to the site. I drove one a few times in the Army, we used them for field ambulances. and I would love to have one.
Thats funny right there. We have beaches on our North coast and a pretty big lake up there. you got me on mountains but we do have Cedar point and Kings Island. Those roller coaster hills are pretty high.
To the OP congrats on your truck and welcome to the site.
Definately check with you DMV. Some states dont title older vehicles. You just need a bill of sale as mentioned earlier. Its definately worth looking into. Good luck.
The lincoln idealarc are good welders we had one for years in our old shop. It was a workhorse. You can find them on CL For 100-150 all day long. New at Lowes they are about 300. I just found an old airco arc welder (which was made by miller) for the house for 80 bucks with new 25 foot leads...
You may want to check with Clinton at C&C equipment for a hard top. He has a lot of used stuff. He is a member on here search and you will find him. Good luck.
