I have found horn wires that not only were frayed, but broken in the steering shaft. If the wire grounds, you have no control over the horn. The later horn buttons are much easier to work with than the early versions.
Warmer weather has arrived. Funny, but all the time I spent trying to make the tach cable fit on the end of the tack drive finally paid off.:-D Thanks to Bjorn, the best of the best, a new tach drive went on, finally, and the cable is hooked up and turning! I know, it is just a couple of...
ODIROn has the kit and it is also available from NAPA part #4019. NAPA is lower in cost. Use the Wix 24071 filter with the SCA diesel additives. When you change the filter, you add the SCA.
The filters might have a couple of drips in them. That is all. They drain into the oil pan when the engine stops.
The jatonka spin on filters are a little messier, the first time, but once you learn to put a towel around them on removal that is eliminated. I prefer the spin on filters for...
I have been soaking the bolts with PB Blaster. I have had good luck with that product over the years. I will soak the bolts for a few days, tapping with each application and see what happens with a little heat. If I am bored, I may drill on them some also.
You learn a lot fooling around...

How do I remove them?
I figure that if those Oliver adapters are still around, eBay would have them at some point. I have looked for some on and off for months, just for fun. None have ever shown up.
It is more difficult than it appears. There are two spacers for the rear. They are a tiiiiiiiiiight fit. I mean tiiiiiiiight.
If you want to put one on the M135/211 contact me first. I know what NOT to do.
You will not regret it, I believe. After putting the primary fuel filter adapter on two of my trucks, working on a third that a friend bought without it is very frustrating.
As Bjorn pointed out the two types of filters mean you may or may not be getting a filter that works and even if you do...
This appears to be an early M211 as it has the stone guards on the bumper and a slave cable connection on the side.
The roof appears to be an after market Memphis top, I think.
