issues with site
I have sent several messages asking for help from the mods using the e-mail address; support@steelsoldiers.com but to no avial.
I have also sent four help messages to the support links but no answer for last three weeks up to the last two days.
Thanks for this opportunity...
An additional consideration for the 12 volt is that the pressure reading is lower. You won't see over 70 PSI on a 6.2 or 6.5 ltr. engine so there is no reason to have a 120 psi gage for a deuce (or similar) installed unless you just want that look.
12 volts is much easier to find in the CUCV...
spc_romaine,
I you send me a list of the manuls or can post it here I may have some to share with you or you wiht me.
I purchased an actual US Army official CD about three years ago and it is the complete set less depot level manuals and it had some of those too.
jimm1009. I can e-mail you my...
Has anyone ever purchased a torque stick extension that is rated for the correct lug nut torque.
By extension, I mean the same type of extension that would be used between a normal socket wrench and socket to extend the hight for reaching into a deeper area to loosen or tighten a nut or bolt...
I truely hope that you find one that fits your needs.
Good luck and please let us know what you end up with.
And, if you don't include a couple of pictures heaven help you.

That is a good way to go.
I purchased one in Colorado a few years ago and since they can not use rust on the road it was in very good condition.
Somewhat cost prohibitive to go that far again but it was good at the time.

12 volt industry standard number 1156 will work more than likely.
Tap off your courtesy light under the dash.
When you turn it on it will power the light that you are installing.
If you want it independently powered there are a couple of places where you can tap into the fuse box. All you need...
Can anyone give me the weight of their bobbed deuce with OEM tires and OEM wheels that is not dualed in the rear?
I would assume that it would also have a M105 trailer bed installed but if not then a another bed.
Please tell me if your weight also include a winch or not.
I need a scale weight...
Unless someone has a physical handicap or weakness in the left leg ANYONE can learn to drive a stick shift and the Deuce is one of the easiest to learn in.
Put that truck in low range out in the country and go for it.
In 20 miles with lots of starting and stopping you will get it down.

I recommend doing the SF-97 as the OMV or DMV will go with that information.
The question is how to find "that information".
I would research it and come up with the data that is good for you and then do the request for SF-97.
Once you provide GL with the data for the SF-97 that is more or less...
I think that the final three drafts are very good.
If they are photo etched then they are going to resemble the most common appearance as the MV community is used to seeing.
If the screw holes and edge distances are the same as the M35A2 you have been able to correct the wieghts to more correct...
Blowing the line back to the tank can help but MAKE SURE that you remove the fuel cap first. Don't aks me how I know. Don't use more than about 15 to 20 psi though or you can blow the fuel lines in the flexible sections.
It wasn't a truck buy a helicopter but the same end scenerio.
They blew...
Reading in fundamental.
Thanks as I did not flip far enough back in the thread. aua
It is funny that the military did not go through with the project.
Kind of neat but the civy bobbed units actually are really cool too.
It is indeed a neat idea for these.

I understand the X in the model number but where did 381 come from?
Have you considered XM35A2 & XM35A2C
with and without winch too?
Inquiring minds need to know...

Here is the cover page for the shell.
I'm not sure if you can download it from S.S. resources but you can get it from LOGSA more than likely.
I can e-mail a few pages to you if you need them right away.
jimm1009
Edit: Here is the link on LOGSA. It does not appear to be available on the S.S...
It does indeed have the C style bed.
Hinges on both side and the rear are only on C beds.
They may have the removable sides and tailgate too if you poke around.
