Advertising group buy possibilities are welcome threads as best as I can tell. I have seen and bought in several green components on this site with people doing that and it serves the public well. You should let everyone know your asking price on a group buy and whether or not you would be able...
Are those reconditioned?
If so, they are worth more then that. I would buy them all up if not
T for the hassle and expense of shipping, but even at that a buyer can make a profit if initial shipping is minimal, meaning, it is a local purchase.
I would sell those for $500 each plus shipping and...
I usually double up with plugs and muffs, but after an hour of driving, for some reason, the muffs alone seemed suitable and I discarded the plugs.
I don't know if it was because the engine and drivetrain were all warmed up (it was driving much better too, with better overall response), or if I...
All those things become negotiable. This board and others are filled with negotiated terms and agreements worked out including paying travel expenses for time and materials. Your limitations are your personal skills, the specifics of the problems, and whom you negotiate with. Sometimes they want...
The canned statement of policy by GL is a cover your arse fluff statement which gives them plausible deniability.
They are in fact responsible for accurate advertising and descriptions.
If you leave the premises with a signed release form, it is buyer beware and you lose all rights to any...
Look at the warped out lift rings on that generator.
Looks like that rig was owned by a 800 pound gorilla.
Good news is, the slant on the landing leg may be normal. Are there two pin holes on that leg?
I took some pictures for you on the alternate landing leg for the M116 and M101 series trailers.
You can see the landing legs go with tilt, and straight up. Even so, yours requires a close examination to see if there is any other residual damage, based on the damage to the foot. Good luck with...
It has obviously been damaged, and it took a lot of torque to do so. Look at the bottom pad. That is no little ding. Someone dragged it hooked up to the truck with foot down. If you look closer, I'm sure you will find more issues up top too.
Much to do before the parade. I cannot tell you PB and the rest of the CAMO team how excited I am to join you in the Veterans Day Parade. I wanted to share with you what I am going through in order to honor our Veterans, my father who served in Columbus, retired there, and died there. Also...
A used cover for the M1101 is going to cost you between $100-200, depending on condition.
Does not include shipping. Best place to buy is here in the classifieds or at a rally.
Get the tarp first, then decide what bows to keep. The tabs can be used to secure the tarp on certain tarps available on the M1101/1102 series trailer. You can then sell the other bows without difficulty. They are in short supply, with regards to the number of trailers available.
And yes, the...
I can't answer your specific question, but I can say, when I drilled mine out, I just went to lowes and picked up some 1/2" self drilling screws and zipped it right up with them with a hex head bit on my drill...
Yes, definitely closer to 2000 pounds then 3000 dry weight, but still to heavy for a jeep. I wouldn't do it.
What you need is a M101A2 with surge brakes, or even a M1101/1102 with smaller wheels and tires then the HMMWV tires.
It will have lower profile, be easier to see behind you in the rear...
Interesting as I just got off the phone ordering the parts I need and came to let you know.
Count me in. I'm sure I can have this thing put back together and in good running order in the prescribed time.
Might take me two trips with the trailer and all. Any chance I can bring in a M101a1 trailer...
Ditto. Deuce springs might be to strong for the lighter weight rear end making it to stiff.
Nothing wrong with my 105 springs in my bobber. Don't care what anyone says.
Everything is so much more expensive on the Pacific coast, but here it is almost as cheap to just buy a whole new spare. They are running a little over $500 here, untested, unless fully new.
Double check the prices there first. I would not buy up a spares kit for a gen set unless it is the...
I am from Columbus and my Father served there. Maybe this will be the stimulus needed to finish my M-37 being done in his honor. I might want to drive my M-37 with M 101a1 trailing in the same manner as what he carried back in the 50's.
Will give you an answer by the prescribed time on the 22nd...
I heard about the gallon of milk sliding off the seat as Joyce was braking and falling onto the pies. She was so embarrassed to have delivered them like that. After driving all that way with them, she couldn't toss them. Hope they were OK in spite of the hole in the pie. Me being me, I thought...
