I have mounted many chargers where you asking about Jiggins. You will need to take the top panel off to secure. I run them through a relay so they get shut off automatically when you go to start the unit.
Mine did have some sheetmetal damage. Most was fixable with a hammer and a dolly. One door was swapped with a mint one from a unit with a lot more hours.
My 803a I kept for my primary was the same way. It was issued to a national guard unit and only started a couple times to charge the batteries. Paperwork left in the door documented every minute it had been running. It had the great sum of 5. something hours on it. It was clean enough to eat off...
For some reason I was thinking I saw specs on these that the BTU on the heat side was 32,000. I could be wrong and thinking of another unit, but I remember being surprised that the BTU wasn't much lower on heat than air. Air filter wasn't clogged on either unit. Plenty of air flow for sure!
Pretty quick actually! Throw 2 extra logs in the burner and it is warm in a few minutes! Not quite the same though. I am not expecting them to warm things up in 20 minutes. I was just surprised by not having hot air coming out. The air is warm for sure, just not hot. But things may be different...

I've had good luck with the side panel off and the channel lock type filter pliers gripping up high on the filter. It will smash it, but I've not failed to get one off yet
With the machine off spray deoxit in that control and exercise it fully from one extreme to the other. You'd be surprised what cleaning the contacts can do
While it may start the 3HP, and that isn't even a for sure thing since you plan on running 1HP dust collection at the same time, it won't start the 5HP motor. Sounds like you should be looking for 803a or larger to power all buildings at once. I'd be very surprised if you could start 5HP with an...
Marking as read at least put the threads in order by date. Before that the dates were completely random. That at least helps. Being old and not liking change doesn't help things!
