questions about buying a hmmwv
Lets try this again. I have 2 questions about what to look for in a hmmwv. Price and engine. I found a couple for around $18k. These are non restored good condition and around 25k miles. Is this the going rate? Also, do I want the 6.2 or the 6.5? Thanks for any help.
I guess it depends on the need for repaint. Looking well worn and sun kissed is one thing. Looking worn and beat to **** is another. I did mine with house paint and FS-595B color codes. Color was perfect.

Everything is def fixable. The only one that worries me is the misfire. Could be injector, hyd head, valves, head gasket, cylinder wall. I'm not paying retail price to find out. Lol.
