Went ahead and did some maintenance and mods.
Changed the fuel filters and got a new belt, Had no idea the belt tensioner pulley was touching the back of the water pump clutch
Also installed a couple of cameras to aid in the gracefulness of its maneuverability
I am not so much OEM but what is going to work best for the price. I was looking at linear actuators but the safety factor will not work. What I really want is a Lodar wireless control for hydraulics, A 4 function control is $900 though so I can handle using the cab controls for now until I come...
The only person to come through on even having a line on the A2 cab control was up near Elvis and that was his reason for the price. Only one company makes the A2 control and it would have to be ordered new.
Finally finished up the winch install. It was not difficult hands on work, just getting all the correct parts together up was a job.
Finally found a A2 cab control housing for the low price of $591.25 from a vendor so that sparked enough motivation to modify the A1 and make it work. I tucked it...
What a terrible loss, I cannot even imagine ever having to go through that. I lost my Father in an accident in 07 and I still pick up the phone to call Him sometimes, like when I got my first 5 ton.
These trucks are a great get away and I always "forget" my phone inside while I am out working...
This is a great place. Group campground will accommodate 50 people on the water and in the middle of plenty of trails and service roads
Buck Lake Campground
I am looking at the last weekend in July or first weekend of August after that I think we will be getting to close to Charles Craven show.

Have used them several times. They ship from store to store. It took 6 days to get my last shipment. They are not going to bring it to your place and you need to call your local location about dropping off or picking up.
Local to me CL ad has dropped price to $700 for 800 series winch setup.

If someone needs it I could go and look at it to verify and pickup if they paid for it and hold until a show or shipping is arranged.

I already have the pump along with everything else except the driveshaft and the cab controls. I am cutting the A1 drive shaft in half and going to lengthen it to the A2 setup so controls are the last item needed to have it operational.
Wireless remote is the end game but getting there is going to be the challenge. I am not so much as interested in having full power at slower speeds but more of the softer engage, Maybe a slower rpm actuator but the that slows down my stopping speed also. I was looking at a air cylinder last...
Did anybody ever get anything to work with the electric solenoid setup to control the PTO? I have had no luck finding the A2 cab control box.
I was thinking of using a 24vdc linear actuator to engage the PTO but was running into a mental block on the electric control of the winch. Does the winch...
Well it will start with just a couple of us.
PM me some dates that are good for you and we'll see what we can get started.
I am going to scout a few areas to setup base as we can disperse camp most anywhere when it is not hunting season.
