new seat cover (cheap man's version)

RE: new seat cover (cheap man BB, Thanks man. When I started in the restoratation of MVs, my hands were always cut, bruised, dry, greasy, and my fingernails were the worst. Figured it'd be a good moniker for the site. I've learned (though a little late) that those disposable latex gloves are...

new seat cover (cheap man's version)

I've been in need of a new driver's side seat cover, but the prices I've seen are just too much. So, I covered it myself. I used an old shelter half that I picked up for 2 bucks at a swap meet. Seems to have worked well.

    My Poor Tractor

Kenny, From the photos, it looks like the towed truck front axle simply slips down into a groove on the 5th wheel plate. Is this correct? If correct, I guess the only thing holding it down is gravity--and your chains?? Lastly, what do you figure the weightage is on the tractor? Steve

Noticed that the flexible high pressure line that runs from the pressure gauge (on the dash) to the fireway distribution block is hissing. Anybody have a NAPA equivalent number or is this an item for one the MV vendors? Thanks much. Steve

    radiator cap pressure

Dribble is what I got just like you said westec and jones. I'll stick with the 8psi cap. I guess Memphis just made a mistake. Interesting though. When I first got the truck, the rad cap was split. So, I ordered one from Memphis--received the 15# cap. Used it a few times and developed a...
