After a conversation with Kip, we have determined the route that the Lancaster convoy will be taking. The convoy will be departing Lancaster about 0830 on Thursday and is catching I-70 and making a quick stop at US Rt. 42 at about 1100 to increase strength to 8 members. Then the convoy will...
It will be there but I wasn't planning on putting on the cargo cover. Additionally, the 15.5's have moved on to my M818 and it now wears six 11.00's. If the photo op is important enough to you to give me a hand putting on the bows and cagro cover, I'll throw them in the back and bring them.
If there are any not spoken for, I'll take one for $50. If cargo space going to Haspin is a concern, I could pick one up from you any other time since you aren't too far away and I've been meaning to stop by anyways. Thanks.
Can someone (I believe I spoke to Doc about this while at Findlay) bring me a M809 Series tachometer cable, please?
Additionally, would anyone be interested in four cruddy 11.00x20 tires on 10 lug wheels for cheap?
I know that it has been said before but, Gringeltaube, your posts and diagrams are the best! When is your book coming out because I would like to purchase one. Thanks again! :p
Well with all of this rain, surely someone ought to be able to go out and get hung up and document the recovery efforts including this 'brake stabbing' technique. Who will volunteer for such an endevor in the name of Off Roading Science?
What is a good remote reservoir to get? What size allows for adequate fluid level monitoring? Are there any that folks have used that still allow use of a pressure bleeder (especially of the garden sprayer variety)?
The traction control system selectively braking one wheel and the operator tapping on one brake pedal on a agricultural tractor is essentially the same thing. But punching the brakes (applying the brakes to both rear wheels equally and both front wheels equally) during a burn out on a...
I'd appreciate it if someone could set me up with some of the following:
- a set of deuce (12') troop seats and (5) bows, preferably fiberglass
- a driver's side door latch
- M809 series tach cable
- a springer seat
I would also be interested in a 20K winch, bumper extensions, and a PTO from...
Count me (and my son) in for Wednesday through Sunday. My wife is planning on gracing everyone with her
presence for at least one day; we will have two new borns by then and camping with them wouldn't be much fun.
It sounds like my parents will be camping there for a spell also. I definately...
From a safety standpoint that is probably a really good idea. I too am dissatisfied with the look of the factory location of the M818 taillights once a bed is installed. Without a better idea I was content to leave them as is because it's only cosmetic. But I had never considered that the...
