My Mep-003A with ASK kit runs well now but I am wondering if the shutter assembly is in proper position for
either cold weather or normal weather operation. Will I be able to find this shutter with the ASK kit installed?.I am learning at least 1 new piece of information about this machine every...
Anyone have one of these for sale or know where I can get one used. This company is out of them. Thanks.

Anybody done something like this and just use the filler or run the filler hose up through a flat spot in the trailer floor and put a cap on it ?.Perhaps a thin tank like this will fit. I was pricing used truck tanks and these new replacements are much cheaper and new to boot. I have been known...
This is correct as well. I had to do this about 3 years ago with my new panel install. Thanks guys. I will now put my generator grounding questions to bed.
The way I read this, you only need the ground rod at the generator when you are not connected to the house service panel.
Whoops, this original post is years old. Sorry. Can't find how to delete mine.
Ok. I unhooked the white braided wire coming off of j10 plug that was grounded and taped it up and wire tied it. I bet a quick connect plug for changing back and forth would work well for this.At least keep me from crawling under the generator.
I want to make sure I remove the correct wire(neutral). My MEP-003A has the ASK kit on it and I can barely find anything, still haven't seen the oil pressure gauge, but they told me where to look. On the back of my ground lug on the generator is a large wire that feels like a big battery cable...
Part #s would be good if not too much trouble. Did you just run #6 wire from the gen bugs to the new plug? You are using 6/3 wire I see. I am using 6/4 so I may need different plugs anyway.
Yeah, my deuce has MRAP wheels and tires on it and the little M116A3 trailer I have wouldn't even work height wise. Would look really dumb. Thanks for the help.
That is perfect, thanks. Is that generator mounted in the back of a Deuce?. I was thinking about doing that before I got one on a trailer. Still thinking about it.
Mep-003A. What type/brand outlet and location did you use to mount a 50A outlet on the generator.I would like to use a plug in cord arrangement to the house.
Any pics would be great.
This website has all the Nato slave cable items it seems.Probably can't buy from them though. The second link is very interesting.Been looking for this tank adapter used.
