    Steering question...

I adjusted toe-in and it helped alot. The body is bent down in the middle on the right side. I think this may be having some effect on steering too.

Well, here she is!! All done except for wheels.

Thank y'all. I used Sherwin Williams lusterless poly topcoat. P/N is FS 34088. I got it directly from Waco and talked to Joe King 254 753 2484. It is a really hight quality aircraft paint that holds up well.

    Steering question...

U joints are free. Ball joints seem to move freely. It just seems to want to go all the way to lock.

    Steering question...

Ok, I have an update. Right now the vehicle is jacked up under the suspention and the outer tie rods are disconnected. The steering box seems to be adjusted and is full of oil. The left side wants to go to full lock either way if I move it from center. The right side is not as bad. It's like it...

    Steering question...

Oh wow! I loosened the steering box nut some and the thing scared the crap out of me. At 45mph or so it was all over the lane. I had to pull over and putt back home. I tightened it back up and it is ok again but seems too tight.

    Steering question...

The steering is very tight on my MUTT. The center is real tight and if I jack it up and turn it it wants to fall hard to either side. If I am making a turn I can pretty much let go of the wheel and it doesnt self center. Any ideas befor I tear it apart? Thanks

    This thing won't warm up!

So far Car Quest and Autozone can not reference 13078 as a Stant P/N. Whats up with dat?

    This thing won't warm up!

I will change it out and see. It's gotta be this but I just found it so odd that the original one and the new one do the same thing. Thanks for the info.

    This thing won't warm up!

Yes, my valves were leaking so I capped them off. I find it odd that two thermostats that test normal in boiling water have the same symptoms. Hence my boggledness.

    This thing won't warm up!

I did change the thermostat. It works as tested as did the original. This is why I am baffled. Makes no sense. Yes, when I remove the seat cushion it drops down immediately to 140.

    This thing won't warm up!

Yes, I have done that. My guage appears to be calibrated. I took it on a 15 mile drive at 50 plus MPH last night and it never warmed up fully. Granted, it was pretty cold out but that should have no bearing on engine temp if the thermostsat is doing its job.

    M151 transfer case leak question

I found the leak!! It's not the seals but the top cover gasket. Gonna make a new one and hit the road!! Woohoo!

    M151 transfer case leak question

It looks like the transfer case is leaking from the 2 wheel/4wheel drive selector shaft. All I can seem to find are repair kits for the driveshaft seals. Is there a complete seal kit or does someone know of the part numbers or sizes of the seals I should get? Thanks in advance.
