The old CARC is still under there. I used a flap wheel and a d/a sander mostly. Feathered the edges of the SUPER thick paint and then primed the bare metal spots with Rust Oleum rust converting primer. It is a BIIIIG job. I first pressure washed it to rempve any flaky spots. Thanks for the props :)
Thank you! It is Sherwin Williams Polyurethane. The color is 34088 lusterless. Yea, it looks so much prouder now. Gonna be on display at the local airshow next month! Thanks again
Over the next two weekends I will be painting "Molly Stoker". I am going with a polyurethane 34088. This weekend I will be disassembling and heavy pressure washing her. With good weather I will paint next weekend!! I'll post pics as I go.
Ok, so in 1966 when my truck was made, if it was an Air Force truck, (it's not but that's what I want to do) would it have been blue? TRhat could be cool!
