Keep in mind that the "parking brake shoe and drum" behind the tranny is only a backup. Your maxi's on the rears are the primary parking brake.

Daniel did a neat job of stacking that tandem on the tires, in order to clear the trailer sides.

The TM has a good breakdown diagram. Most decent truck shops have a seal puller. Using this tool, the seal and washer will pop out together. I will try to take a pic of mine tomorrow.

I take all mine to a boat canvas shop and they restitch them for me.

My liner let go on the way to the 2011 GA Rally. One other one had severe wear on it, and would have let go soon. Engine had about 12K on it too, and came with 3 ring pistons. Got a set of 4-ring pistons and liners from Clark....so far so good.

Maybe it was ........ wait for it............ FIRE ANTS?? Seriously, too bad that happened. I worry more about fuel leaks causing a fire, than batteries.
