What did you do to your deuce this week?

I don't think we should keep derailing this thread. I am getting ready to leave the house now for Newberry and maybe we can find a thread on the IP and discuss the finer points you brought up. Also I am still half asleep. I will say I got a "smile" on my face when you finely called the "plunger"...

    Service Your Air Dryer

For the diagnostics of the PT and engine. If I remember that port was rail pressure. I can't remember the short letters used for the scan tool. Sure someone will know the correct letters. STEC/something something??? Plug it as Wes said.

    3D Printed Seal Driver

The inner part just holds the seal to the installing tool and the flat part does the pushing. As said if you have trouble just use a small hammer and install it straight in with it. Now if your doing the ctis seals then can't help you. I did away with the ctis seals when I switched to 5 ton...

    Cold starting help M-817

Must be cold up there and your inside. I should be outside as it is pretty nice down here and off the dang computer. Yep DD's bad for that for sure.

    Cold starting help M-817

Good thought but we have the emergency shut of if a PT ever ran away. In most cases the Deuce is the is the one that has the fuel control that sticks at WOT in less he has a multi fuel in has 5 ton. Do believe he has the Cummins 250 because of the thread where the OP asked about the emergency...

    3D Printed Seal Driver

Looks real good but the inner hub seal is a flat lip and just needs a hammer to install. I do have the correct one that I got off the bay along with the spindle nut socket.

    Greaseable polyurethane sway bar bushings

To help keep the Peace around here you want me to order the one you showed and see if it fits on my M1088. Not a problem.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Plenty of flow. Delivery valve checked. Could check over flow valve but I don't not believe that will be the problem. Easy to check it but not that important I believe right now. The over flow helps hold head pressure and opens more as the boost pump get up to pressure. Case in point if the in...

    how much zddp additive?

Yep my last Blackstone came back at 1242 and Rotella no additives. I don't ever add any but as said Rotella or Delo and no worries and always good reports. Always best to have it tested if you think your oil can not match up to these. Lets see some more Blackstone reports from other OP's if you...

    Guilty Pleasure

If you state has a yearly inspection it will be tough to do what it takes to really wake up the Duramax. Also you have your warrantee to watch out for. I have Kory Willis EFI live tune and four to five inch stainless from turbo straight out. Some other small program adjustments but it rocks...

Torque multiplier....I won't leave home without it.

Sorry post # 5 showed the M18 fuel and then your post's so I believed that tool was the one in question. I love my M18 fuel 3/4 impact and the 1/2 drive tool. I have not touched a breaker bar or cheater pipe since I got it. Was just wanting people to know if you use / do a lot of tire work this...

    Thanks Simp5782 - Wes Simpson

Yea your another one here that never post's with "Attitude" or "Bragging" and no "BS" there G. Thanks for all your help while we are here and doing the laundry. The facts mama just the facts. So he must have been fakeing it the last time he slept here. Guess I need to go check all the trucks to...

    Thanks Simp5782 - Wes Simpson

Yea and he does this all without "attitude". Think I would buy him a pizza and let him sleep in my bed while I slept in the M373A2 trailer when he passes through.

Torque multiplier....I won't leave home without it.

"Same page" you said 3/4 the first time will not do the job. After switching from one inch air at the shop or carrying a truck four way with cheater pipe when in motion I now love my 3/4 Milwaukee. I don't leave Houma without it.

    MTVR Cost

Looks like just the pin was welded in place. Where is the blue fire wrench?

    MTVR Cost

I was checking the check book when I first saw the ITV's. Decided it was not the best toy for me and the local mud pit. Curb weight 4536. Is cute and looks like a lot of cool extras like rear steer air bag and such but going to pass.

    Front hub spindle nut tool

The TM calls for 50 foot pounds then back off 1/4 turn. Then 10 to 20 foot pounds and see if the inner gear plate lines up with the pin. If not do not tighten but you can back off one spline. I took all of mine to 20 and had one line up perfect the rest had to adjust a tad.
