On any truck with air brakes I like to make sure I have all brake chamber cage bolts and they are in good shape. Myself I clean them up and carry them in the truck.
Fuel control screws 18 to 23 inch pounds is what the book calls for. Just tighten them by hand to about what it took to get them off and check for free movement. Loosen and correct if not moving "very" "freely".
When installing the fuel control the pin blade must be horizontal when the arm of...
Always takes me longer to find your house back in the boonies than it does to work on you stuff. GPS sends me down goat trails. Leaving bread crumbs does not work and my memory well that's another story. From the looks of the bamboo growing around your place I will have to bring a machine to cut...
I sold my nylon strapping because the spair still has two chains on mine. First chain keeps tire in cradle when lifting the the second chain has two of these clips showen in pic and connects to where the red line is on both sides of the cradle. The correct length of chain on mine when clipped is...
Ok my bad it is a tester. What through me off was seeing the other injectors installed. Just hit me your little extra smoke could be from single hole tip, go to two hole or don't worry about it. If you watched the utube vid that shows what a stream looks like and we don't want a stream. Then one...

Then you better keep a eye on you dip stick and if you see it gaining level then you are getting fuel into the crank case.
It really is a simple thing to do and adding a pyro is not that hard. The performance will surprise you.
Nope not bypassed. You might get lucky and the line from the final fuel filter might be long enough to reach the Head unit. Then it is just a inverted flair plug and two NPT plugs.
Just a reminder the sticker diesel fuel only FDC bypassed does not mean a thing. I have seen a truck with the sticker and the FDC was not bypassed. You have to know what you are looking for to see if FDC is bypassed. If the fuel line coming off the final fuel filter goes to the FDC it is not...
XM820 w/Hyd. tailgate. Got it closed up and ready to ship it out after removing fifteen 1400 and 1600 tires and nine HEMTT NOS Wheels plus two big block Chevy heads. Just glad the wires/rigging was working or I would have gotten it closed up.
