As with any two part mix they have a pot life. They said that the pot life of that mix is six hours. I was reading and someone said that when they mixed up a batch in a can after some hours it developed a skin on top of the can. Some pot life of a two part mix can be extended by laying them out...
Any one need a nice Deuce front bumper. Could keep it as a spare for when you bend yours hitting that tree at a rally? $100.00
NOS 809 series muffler $60.00. NOS springer seat top with both top and bottom cushions and frame work. $80.00. 1992 M15A2 $20,000.00. !997 MTV M1088 $18,000.00. Deuce...
Yep all my NOS two hole Allen head injectors tested before install are popping at 3500. So how long the spring will hold it's set there is no telling but the IP can handle it and it can only help performance so at least 3200psi.
With the FDC bypassed the droop screw will lower or add more fuel just like the main fuel adjusting nuts. If you go to far clockwise it will be hard to start. When the FDC is bypassed just leave the droop alone and deal with a little extra smoke at lower rpm. When you get a good puff of smoke...
If the FDC is bypassed the droop screw no longer works as it should because the FDC piston no longer moves. If the FDC is still there then get the main fuel turned up first then the droop could be turned down to see if you can get some of the low rpm smoke to calm down. Are you running Diesel...
Just reading so natural rubber does not do well with petroleum, neoprene does a little better and nitrile is even better.
So to the OP if you have U joint axles don't fill the knuckle with grease leave it clean just put grease into the inside of spindle housing for the spindle / axle bushing...
By cross I mean sealed u joint like that is in a drive shaft. Timken ball type has open unit and has ball bearings that you can see and needs to be grease.
From what I read the hypercycle piston allows more refined fuel to be use and not cause diesel knock. Would seem like any oil at 22.1compression would just about light off even if it was not a multifuel. Seems like as said running jet fuel or gasoline that has a lower cracking point needs a more...
One would think it is because of the petroleum from grease in the knuckle or gear oil from the axle. Think some of the stuff that comes from China is not what it should be. The easy way to tell if you boots were made in China would be eat a good size piece and if your hungry half hour later it...
Sorry Frank I only kept one full set for my Deuce. Here is a pic of the Allen head adjust. The TM's also show a third type that has a lock nut that locks down the adjuster but it shows what looks like a flat head screw driver slot. Never seen one of those type so I can not confirm.
Looks like they switch with a work order to get a better burn and they do. The old style you needed shims to adjust the pressure so more of a pain to adjust. I saw a lot of one hundred injectors on GL and was going to bid and glad I did not as they were single hole. I did win a lot of odds and...
