Oh ok cool. And I don't need a special wrench for that like the one with the two nuts on the outside right?
I'm pulling the stud to the rear of vehicle or the front?
Mine doesn't leak but also isn't hooked up. The truck has a ether start on it which I also can't freakin figure out why that doesn't work either. Idk very frustrating between that and the horn.... I think it might be the temperature sensor that is bad on the ether start. I'm going to try and...
So i guess I'm going to be rewiring the horn..... i have no power to any wires in the horn circuit. Idk why. The solenoid works if i jump power to it. But nothing at the horn or at the circuit breaker.
Also can anyone tell me what this is? I'm going to be replacing the return line hoses soon...
Ok so let me get this straight..... to turn up my fuel I have to pull the fdc off completely and adjust the inside of the pump? Or do the quarter/shim trick?
I'm going to try one of these... bendix cyclone duradrain. We use them at work on the supply and service lines on our trailers. No power no replacing filters. Just take it apart and clean the screen. It uses a twisted chamber. As the air goes in it spins and pulls the air and water to the...
I do use diesel kleen i think it's called. I get smoke out of the pipe but it won't fire. Battery's are great i can crank for 10 minutes and not one sign of dying down. I just reach out the passenger door and give it a wiff of ether and she fires right up. I don't mind doing that and i don't...
I would stay away from slime at all costs.... I worked in the medium truck and heavy equipment tire business for 13 yrs and that stuff is a nightmare to clean out when it finally doesn't work and you need to patch a tire.
If your going to try and balance there are lots of good liquid tire...
Quite a few for sale around here. All $6000 to $10000. I remember a few years ago seeing them for private sale in the Lancaster farmer for $3000 to $5000.
I would personally stay away from a 5 ton cause even if they are titled and registered antique I was told you still need a CDL to drive...
Yeah I have the full federal premium vision system with controller and brain box. Has a mic and full sirens. I managed to snag a brand new set of grote truck tone horns off ebay for $40. They will go on the hard top next to the light or on the side of the hood haven't decided yet.
I got a handful of the cork plugs from gibb this weekend. They are the right nsn part # the tm calls for. They measure 1/4" wide by 3/8" long by 3/16" thick.
This weekend was kind of a wash for me. Had off Friday for my wedding anniversary and spent the whole day with my wife. Then Saturday we got more snow plus I went up to Gibbs house and shot the breeze for a few hours and picked up some parts from him. got a led light switch Jerry can and some...
I'd love to do this but you guys are leaving thursday. I'm going Friday morning. I'd also like to stay away from toll roads to be honest. Fuel is expensive then adding tolls on top of it is even worse yet.
I will be getting a hardtop next weekend but I'm not sure that it is going to be a good idea mounting the bar to that. I'm going to try though. My thoughts is going with a modified convoy light setup. Using 2 x 2" poles up then 2"x3"x3/16" angle iron with a gusset underneath. Then I can also use...
Just used this thread to redo my wiper motors. I didn't need to do the bushings but both motors didn't work. I got both working great and used a pack of o rings i got from lowes. There is two different t o rings in it i used the bigger ones. They seemed a tad smaller then the stock o ring but...
Yeah that's what I'm going with. I ordered two auto meter gauge pods today to hose clamp to the steering column. There is definitely no room behind the dash with the defrosters. And I don't think there is enough room to re do the gauge cluster with a Pyro host and 12v voltage gauge.
