Well, the LDT and LDS engines are not diesels. They are compression ignition designed, but they are multifuels. The only issue I have had running gasoline was during a very hot day... I got a case of vapor lock.

That's where mine is. It's not too hard. The biggest issue was holding up the assembly to the firewall and trying to take measurements for the bracketry at the same time. Also, by having it in the cab, you no longer have the heater lines running over the engine and rubbing them selfs in two.

An electric motor is like a variable resistor. It's current draw will be based on the load of the motor. Measuring the winding's resistance and using Ohm's law would give incorrect real life results. Checking current draw with a multi meter in-line is the best way to go about it.
