There is no need. The factory installed two doors that do the same thing. There is one on the driver's and passenger's side. Open them for fresh air.

Did you find your leak? There is a leak somewhere. Brake fluid doesn't just disappear.

Being that is was just the cable that broke, Pulling the stop rod on the I/P should have killed it.

Mine ran cool unless under load also. I replaced the radiator cap and now it maintains its temp around 180 deg. The old cap was worn out and wouldn't hold pressure. The spring tension on the new cap was a bit higher compared to the old. It is a New Star brand cap.

Maybe he has selectable hubs on the front axle. :?:

RE: Air compressor hot / turbo ID / truck history Isn't the oil passage is covered up with all that gasket goo? There was no need for all that goo.

Could be a bad seal or the axle breather could be clogged and forcing the lube past the seal. You have to pull that hub off now anyway. Just be sure your breather is clear once you finish the repair.
