For a 2" lift why not buy a used set of lift springs and get something that will drive nice down the road? Add-a-leafs bring the suck when it comes to road manners. Used springs can be picked up from free to cheap if you search and wait patiently.
I would work on moving the bed out of the way first. Unbolting it and sliding it back can be done with one person and a couple of 4x4 posts. Then you can do all the work from the top without dropping the tank.
IFS is preferred by the military (at least those doing the purchasing). I remember watching the training video's when the HMMV's came out. They made a big deal about the "benifits" of IFS :lol:
I have a couple hydro clutch pedal assemblies for sale over on CK5... If you go that route I would buy a new master, slave and hydraulic hose. But buy the bellhousing, clutch fork and pedal assembly used.
If an EE doesn't know what a test light is :cookoo: Think light bulb with two probes (or one probe and one alligator clip)...
