No one uses mine either, although if I am going to park it and set up the radios, I do not mind others using it for communications once they have shown they understand how to operate radios, power supplies, and set the power supply voltage to keep the batteries alive.
The only key they get is...
Turner surplus has a spare engine - if that is the vehicle in question, the buyer best get the engine fom Turner before it gets scrapped. He may have to do it if he needs the $ and no one buys it.
I'll trade my left er.. DNA source, for it, plus throw in some shootin irons, a pirate radio...
It appears to be about keeping up appearances.
person A buys a lot at auction and sells 2/3 of the stuff to B and C.
not collusion?
persons ABC discuss it and one of them buys it and they split it up.
collusion?
there was no difference to any party. It's all the appearnces.

If you are downshifting to slow the truck, that is not recommended under normal conditions. An exception would be when going down a steep grade you would keep to a lower gear.
Instead of stock rears, make the lastmost two axles from fronts and have them turn with the steering, easier said than done. Like those big 8x8 or 10x10 cranes. Speaking of which, I seen one going almost 70MPH on I-35, all many many tons of it.
Problem found. The cold weather was incidental to me noticing the symptom.
The bolts holding the front differential drive flange to the driveshaft flange were slightly loose. A 1/16" gap could be seen between one side of the flanges.
It pays to be attentive to every new vibration and noise. I...
Job done. It was simplest to use two surplus "bridge rectifiers" taken from a scrap power supply to route the voltages properly. Works perfectly and no annoying wire-swapping required.
The user has only to install the right bulbs depending on if it will be towed by the 12V civilian vehicle or...
It is a simple and very old military oscilloscope, possibly made by RCA. It was intended to be used to look at electrical signals in radios and the like, but is still useful today for tracking down noises and intermittent connections in vehicle wiring as well as for general audio and old radio...

It is a beter copy too.
Thanks for the note about the 1157 vs 1662. I wonder what idiot designed them that way?
Since I will be wiring an M105 pigtail in, I can take that into account and swap the wires (might...
attached is a chart the guy at NAPA gave me when he sold me some 24V lamps to replace the 12V ones in my civvy trailer.
The chart covers many 6V, 12V, and 24V lamps found in vehicles
PDF and GIF are same. PDF is higher resolution.
No, but might now consider a charger with the feature. Hate buying batteries for no reason. Also hated it because the truck was not "mission ready" and that was my fault.
Looking at the Deltron charger from Eastwood, it is prettty smart, but does not de-sulphate (or I could find no claim that...
Good pics, thank you very much! I think I could do something like that. I'll try to investigate the charger you used.
One thing I found by speaking with the people at various charger manufacturers was that they didn't seem to be able to tell me much about how their chargers actually worked to...
I drove it about 1.5 months ago, then parked it.. No charging issues at all. Last week, has several days of freezing, but otherwise upper 30-s and better. Yesterday, it was 60 degrees and I go to start the deuce and just got a few cranks and volts were 22.2 after cranking it a little. seriously...
