That Cummins was designed to run exclusively on DIESEL. Running other oil mixtures is just asking for problems. Just my 2cents

IMHO, the Goodyears have a better "footprint" than the Michelins, especially on wet roads. You will be happy with the ride. Much better than NDT's.

GOOD ones, Ray! Anyway, the reason James was down here to give me hand in the first place, was to get a reluctant deuce to start. It started just fine when I unloaded it off the truck. After some test driving, it became increasingly hard to start. The problem became very evident when I changed...

That's the same piece that went out on my 1009. Cruising down the highway at 70 and it just QUIT! Only had first and reverse. Took it to the tranny shop, and they found that problem. Mechanic told me it is caused by rocking the vehicle back and forth. Cost me $150 and now shifts like a dream.

You are all welcome to come over and help me out anytime. Got a 923 with air brake issues; a deuce that doesn't like to start easy; and a 1009 with spindle issues. And James, you need to come over more often, so I get some decent meals :)
