    I used an old copy of Paint Shop Pro (although MS photo editor should work) and created a new large picture. I then opened a picture of the first truck and marked the area and did a copy. Then I pasted it as new selection in the blank picture. I did the same thing with the second truck and...

    I am not sure how much is needed, others can answer better than I can. As far as costs check with deuceman51. Here is a link to the Sherwin Williams site. One of the spec sheets should help the painter. Military - Markets - Products - Product Finishes

    Shoe Polish? Or a bad paint job...

    A lot of the M1009s at Jefferson City had grey dashes. It almost sounds like someone applied cordovan shoe polish to make the dash match the door panels. Paint perhaps. I gather you won the one with the brown dash.

    Contact deuceman51 he can hook you up with CARC. It not much different than any other automotive paint in terms of application.
