I have the five ton spacer plates. so I need to grind reliefs in them for the rivet heads. I would think that the fifth wheel would be centered between the front and rear axels, is this correct?
I hope to find a short flat bed trailer and I am wanting to build myself a camper out of a Military trailer. The biggest thing I would plan on moving would be another truck around the size of a deuce.
Rayzer, how did you deal with the rivet heads on top of the frame under where the fifth wheel needs to go? I also have looked at some M275 pictures and all the fifth wheels I have seen on the dont have the spacer plates under the fifth wheel and are bolted through the top of the frame.

I installed my stacks to keep from filling some ones car at a red light. I have seen some hood stacks where one piece is attached to the hood and when you close the hood it sits down on a smaller shorter stack coming straight off the turbo.
Well I found out how good it is in the mud last night. It did as expected. The main problem I had was it was pushin mud with the front axel, and the truck is under powered. I tried a few types of mud. I learned real quick that the mud the racers bog in is not the same as the stuff people were...
I say go for it. A few mods a you will be ok I would think I actually work on the ford diesels. Delete the egr, egr cooler, and talk to the company bullet proof diesel and get a external oil cooler and a good fuel filter kit like a fass or air dog. I would see no need for bigger injectors. A...
