Yeah my neighbor is jerk too..... He was crouching behind his truck last night when I came home watching..... He took me to the township last year for riding atvs on our property. So I'm sure he's loving the deuce. I better not ever catch him messing...
I'm going to be redoing the inside of the truck including the dash..... is there any reason why I can't get a new data plate and restamp the vin on it? We build aluminum trailers at work and hand stamp our data plates every day so doing it wouldn't be a problem I just want to make sure it's...
Ok maybe I'm not lol. I'll pull It in the shop tomorrow after work and mess with it.
I think I also decided I'm going to put a muffler on it.... it sounds oh so good the way it is but the days of fast and loud are done and over with for me.....
Yes thank you very much I was just searching through the tm..... I figured it was like any other switch.... button sent juice to the horn.... I'm going out to check it right now lol
Well once it gets warm all the fluids..... I was going to grease it today but I just got to cold it wasn't much above 20° out. Full Filter change too, air filter is brand new so I'm god there. I gotta get the horn working and I wanted to take it to get inspected next weekend but I think I'm...
I messed with the freakin horn for two hours today. I ran a pair of jumper cables to the air solenoid and that works..... but I'm not getting any juice at the button. I followed the wire from the button in the steering wheel down through the steering column and our out the bottom. The connection...

In minersville dave. And yes he questioned the plate..... but he said all was good thanked me for being polite all and apologized for the inconvenience. He said the truck was badass and to have a nice day and safe trip.
Woooooo the trip home was quite interesting..... truck runs great and drives good. Very happy, except for this.....
The state trooper pulled me over to tell me the my truck was and I qoute...... "f - ing awesome" had me ****ting in my pants..... All I could think was big truck big ticket and...
Ok so the day has finally come. I woke up this morning and had my income tax check already. I'm leaving in a hour to go pick up my first military truck and I can't wait. I'll post pictures when I get home. Going to be a long cold trip but it's going to be oh so worth it!!!!!
Actually I think I found a way to use the top plates and I can't believe I didn't think of this myself.
This is a old thread where a guy made this lift blocks. If my measurements are correct i should be able to do this. And since i need to make lift blocks and order u bolts i can save my...
That doesn't matter..... the plate sits on top of the spring. By they don't work I measured mine tonight. They are ok with with the 2.5" but they are 4.5" between the bolts. They would work but are a 1" to wide.
I'm still not sure on this yet. Making lift blocks would be great but then longer shocks might be needed and longer u bolts as well Luke stated above. Plus what is it going to change in the steering so on and so forth.
