Thanks for the input guys. Ken, Dad is thinking of moving to the houston/ SA area. He is down there now and loves the area. he plans to start looking at real estate soon. Maybe a 20' Conex box will work. Time is no issue so i figured the speed wouldnt be too high. anyone know of a place to...
Moving to Texas soon, in an attempt to reduce the number of trips i have to make, i am considering the purchase of a M1022 to move a ISO container down there rather then paying to have it moved. See here:http://www.steelsoldiers.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=9967 Will the deuce...
Planning on moving to Texas from Ohio in 16 months. We had planned on just buying an old CONNEX overseas container and having it shipped down there. But since the deuce has to go to, would it be possible to use a M1022 or something of that nature to tow one with behind the deuce? What would be...
Took the deuce to a car show yesterday at the American legion in Hilliard OH. Won the award for best vehicle ever…. 8) Actually that wasn’t even an award; instead I got a plaque for being #5 in the top 25.

RE: Re: RE: Need to trade my M817 for a small, working dozer
My CAT dealer here does long-term lease on equipment. Rates are reasonable. Considering the fact that you will be running a new (er) machine and they will come out and take care of maintence. How big of a dozer are you looking for?
I might have to move a dragline from lake MI to central ohio.. the deuce wouldnt do it in a million years... so i would need a lowboy setup.. anyone have a rig? like i said this isn't set in stone, but i dont want to be stuck with no way to move it..
$20 sign up fee and a hundred- something payback for first place.
I sorta wanted to get stuck JUST A LIL... it would be fun to watch them attempt to get it pulled out.
I laughed when i saw the breaks.. I was working with some real geniuses that day :cookoo: I tried to explain the NDT tires, but "they were on a off road truck.. So they weren’t street legal...” Its ok. Ill take my money else ware next time.
No pics. No run. I went to registration and they wouldn’t let me participate. They said my tires weren’t " DOT approved" and because i was 6x6 this gave me an " unfair advantage” aua  they also argued with me over the street legality of my truck.
