Wire feed welder (review I guess)

Bought a Hobart 210 Handler last summer it came with a Free spool gun. It is replacing a 110volt Lincoln mig welder. The Lincoln welder just did not have the duty cycle when a lot of welding needs to be done. The new Holbart is assume, welds like a champ and does a great job.

When I first got mine it ran ok but would leak oil like crazy we are not talking just a few drips but running down the side. I pulled the covers off and found that the oil was leaking from the fuel pump. Installed a new fuel pump and gasket thinking it was fixed but it still leaked just as bad...

Lost part of my finger yesterday, safety reminder

Back in 1982 I suffered what the Doctor called a Sub-total amputation of my left thumb. It was pulled twisted and crushed off right before the knuckle all that was holding it on was a small piece of skin. It was a work related accident and workman's comp paid the bill. They brought in a Micro...

    use of lucas oil stabilizer

I have used it in my truck since I put the motor in. I don't drive mine a lot and what I like is the protection against the dry starts. I know it works cause when you pull the dipstick out you can feel the tackiness on the stick.

    Engine oil pressure

I also had a problem with the oil pressure gauge It would jump up 30psi and that was it. I installed a sunpro Retro gauge painted the rim OD as it has a black with white letters and white hand. Plumed it with copper line encased in rubber and it works great . If you did not know better you would...

    Fun with magnetics

Talking bought the Carbon foot print I was in a parade Saturday and where we were staging on the left side and on right side of us were a bunch of EC-friendly electric cars and mini trucks. Here we are sitting with noisy Smokey Diesel trucks. We would let them idle a bit then rev them up gagging...
