I am thinking about how to take the slop out of my tailgate pins. Maybe some fitted pins and bronze bushings will do. Clutch pilot bearings may work too.
Has anyone removed their slop?

Well that sure is a tough job when you do it by yourself, but it works just fine. Now I can open and close the hood with two fingers without a ladder:).
