I had one that dripped steady, cleaned it, repositioned it, tried everything I could think of and no joy.A member here recommended a product called copper gasket, cleaned mine really well at the ferrule and apply a bit of the copper gasket.Let it set up per instructions then tighten it down...
Was the plate added for the weight of the ring or the recoil from the .50? I have everything now but the plate, wondering if I would be good to go since I probably won't be firing from the ring with anything more than a .22;)
Found these in my old reliable honey hole, I am hoping I have a complete set here.The short ones are about 55 inches long and the long one(on the right) is about 62.These may be from a 548, are they different from ones that would fit a deuce or are they all the same?I already have the ring,

It is vinyl as far as I know, any vinyl cleaning and preservative type product, same as you might use on your car.It's worst enemy is sunlight which will make it stiff and brittle over time.
