Those shelters are designed (as you probably know) for M1028 CUCV pickups... So if it is the same size as a pickup bed, it will work. I was looking at the dozen or so they were selling in MN, but I have no place to put it.
RE: Re: RE: M818 1,200 miles and home
Sir, First, glad you and your son were able to have a great bonding experence soon after your return from Korea. Also, very glad the trip was a success with minor hiccups. CPT Jack
I will have a CUCV coming back on a flatbed in the coming weeks. Anyone in WI, Northern IL, IN or OH need something brought up? No promises, but I might have some room on my load, if nothing else, if it fits in the bed of my pickup, should beable to get it up here.
Several of us have talked about it, Mike at Fort McCoy is the best... he is very flexable, has no attidtude, and works with us. Wish all were like Mike.
Great news. Robyn has been great so far. gald she, after a month of abuse, is willing to keep fielding questions for folks all over the state, the Ohio thread is a great example of the how a company can be ruined by one bad egg. I will have had experence with three offices in less than a...
I had a good experence in Columbus over the weekend. The front gate guy let me in at 3AM (I do have mil id) and I naped till the GL guys showed up. They took me about 15 minutes early, I was out of there before my 7:30 appointment. i will agree, not the friendliest and the fork lift guy...
HELP!!! I have had two trucking companies back out on me the day of... must have found more prohitable loads. If anyone can get this truck North a little, I will be for ever in your debt. Ohio, IN, IL, WI anything like that would be great.
Some one tell me when they see a field truck with clearance lights, when mounted the way those are, they get pulled off by a tree in the first half mile.
Agree with most so far, not orginal. Heck the paint jobs are even the same...
Excuse my ignorance, are you making it red and yellow, or is that some funky primer?
Are there many like it in Belgium? Any idea what the whole story is, cause I am sure it would be a great one.
Best of luck and like the others have said, keep the pictures coming!
In WI to get the collector plates you can not haul more than 500 lbs unless it is part of a parade or other display. I am thinking of getting collectors for my CUCV pickup, but with those limits, I will not beable to even haul a snowmobile!
Looking at some things on GL that need an FDA document. In looking at it, it appears that if you promise not to use it for medical purposes or promise to sell it to only licenced med professional, that you can buy it, is that a correct read?
Anyone know if the FDA document takes a long time...
RE: Lease / return...?
Early on someone commented something along the line of think of it in the way the person who is driving it. All I hear is good things from those who drive em. State side they fight to drive them, they are quite, ride smoother and eaiser then the duece (of course they...
I got a CMP Garand in Dec and just got my Carbine. Between the CMP and GL, I feel like the only thing I buy is army surplus from army garage sales! I should get a tax break for all the money is am giving at these garage sales!
Should we start a seperate thread to share photos of our CMP hauls?
I am having a heck of a time getting my road trip lined up... can someone pick up some boxes in Columbus, OH for me? the three GM boxes in front, they have only foam seals, not heavy, but look dirty!
A few photos... the trailers with three holes in the wrong spot, which are not listed yet, and a drop side.
I know you want more, but in part because of all the photos I took and I promised the GL rep, I would not post till they were listed.
Re all the other trucks... see the Moroco post I...
