    heater valves

Have you checked with your local NAPA store? They have a Heavy Duty Truck Parts catalog with pictures you can compare to what you have. A lot of that stuff is standard parts. ( Did you know that a 1950 Ford tie rod end is identical to the Ford 8N tractor tie rod end? That was during the...

When you park your Deuce on a inclined driveway........

There's a fellow down south of me who uses an aircraft mixture control lock on his fuel shutoff. Works the same as the aircraft application and available from, I think, Sporty's Pilot shop. A good idea worthy of duplication! Probably ought to be part of a theft prevention thread.

The Deuce vs. HOA's: How do you guys deal with it?

How come they can see it? Isn't it camoflaged? He-he... So put a net over it... OR Do whatever you want and space the appeals to last at least 8 years OR Take all the neighbors to a parade in it and amass some allies...

    two question on m35a2

J, Are you refering to an intercooler that sits between the turbo and the intake manifold? If it can be done to a deuce, somebody has probably done it! You might want to search the hot-rod thread. Realistically, the boost is so low there's no need to cool the air charge and the cooling...

    4th of July

Mine is a -1D so the whistle is barely audible. I think it's the throaty roar they like. So start a parade! The Dallas Lakewood parade started with a couple of kids on bikes/trikes and has grown to a couple of hundred entries ( I was #20 and an M37 was #180)! They will come with the kids.

Damned if you don't have good eyes... Actually, that is a red one with five (5) of the best looking Andrews Sisters look alikes you never saw. While our crew was tossing candy to the kids, the dirty old man was hanging over the tailgate tossing candy to the girls... LOL This could be habit...

    Air Pressure regulator

That's how you get another point on your genius star! Good idea! I've been trying to figure out whether the compressor shut down on pressure or bleed-off and that would answer the question. I checked the air pressure under the dash when the gauge went off-scale and I saw 160 + there. Wow...

    Air Pressure regulator

Did the parade yesterday and got a 3rd place on the first time out. Problem is the air pressure went off-scale and the relief valve popped off. So we finished with the under dash valve cracked enough to bleed off excess air. Talk about going deaf... Turning the regulator knob doesn't seem to...

Ready to go parade - almost

Well it darn sure ain't rain! Haven't seen any in Dallas for over a month now; It's all going to Florida! Hmmm, wonder if that old fuel that's mixed with the new isn't burning up completely? That may explain the cloud of greyish white smoke when I rev it up... Maybe I ought to drain the...

Ready to go parade - almost

Coming down to the wire gettin EMMA ready for the parade on the Fourth. Just discovered a big chunk rubbed out of the front brake hose - oops! Anybody know a NAPA part number ( or anything else not mail order) for that? Still getting oil spray out the stack that coats everything around with...

And while we're on it - Where do you get the copper gaskets for the top of the oil filter cans? I reused the old ones but now one is leaking. Is there a standard size or part number?
