Looking for a Correct Kit. Would love a fuel fired heater, but need all of the other stuff to go along with it. And it seems that there is a disproportionate number of heaters vs control boxes.

Anyone have, or know of somewhere to purchase a heater kit? Tried buying a parts deuce for one, but it went too high. Prefer a good used one to keep the cost down.

Yup, there was a different lot w/ the deuce covers, and 2 others for m939 kits, and another hemmt Kit.

Did you just win those today? If not, how much? I was bidding on the 2 they had up at sparta today, but I couldn't see paying $700 for 2 covers from GL.

I did this once to a dodge cummins w/ a bad lift pump. Just be careful not too much pressure. If you look at the top of the injection pump, there should be a large fitting. Take out the plug and fill it w/ diesel. Fill the filter housing w/ fuel and reinstall. Try and start w/ some ether...

You mean there are people who actually want that thing? I had tried to sell it before but no one was even interested unless it was free.

I thought one would want to use the setup off of a similar year truck? Regardless, I do one on the '82 parts truck I could take off, it is going to the scrapper eventually.

This doesn't show the dent, but it does show the style Steering Box is from a 4x4, mounts on it's side w/ the bracket. Where is CCattlet at? I wasn't aware of any members in the U.P., and I'm in lower WI most of the time.

Forgot to mention, I have a 73 frame engine/trans, a core support from a '78? an 82 parts truck, I think I've got a reverse rotation PS box and bracket, probably a pump and hoses somewhere. All civvy trucks. Let me know if your looking for anything else.

Don't know if it's exactly the same, but I have one off of a '75 W200, it's got one dent in it, but is solid.

Bob that frame and move it up and I think it will look great. Maybe raise it up some off the frame to make the headache rack match the height of the cab better. Personally I can't stand the look of the M105 bed on a bobbed deuce, it just looks out of place. I like your idea better.
