I am looking forward to having another even to attend that is close. I will bring out the MKT for use with cooking. I think that it is great to have more events as it gives us a better opportunity to meet and socialize. I can only speak for myself but coming to this rally will not impact...
I think that I have a spare 60 psi oil gauge in my parts box. I swapped out for the 120 gauge that mine needed. Let me know and I can send it to you. My truck came out of San Antonio and looked a lot rougher then yours and has given me or the current owner no problems. Needed a few hours of...
I am looking forward to the rally. Now to get the MKT in shape so that we can cook up all kinds of good things. I will gladly take the cold if we can have it a bit less wet.
Kenny, let me know if we are going to plan a weekend prior to the rally for prep work. I will try to take all/most of...
GE, with all of the work that you are doing on the floor it may be worth your while to pull out the interior panels and replace the insulation. When I pulled mine out I also found that the wiring had dry rotted in a number of places and needed replacement. Pulling out and putting in the roof...
Guys, I really wish that I could have made the rally but my deuce decided to throw a couple of curve balls. The good news is that it looks like Murphy spent most of the day in Tampa. So just how much metal in your transfer case oil is bad??????
Mitch,
I have a number of wooden ones in fair shape if you need them. They are just taking up space and I would rather see them used then burned up in a camp fire. I am sure we can get them up your way if you do not need them immediately.
Looked at those but the distance was the killer. Then Vinny had to point out the 934 expandable vans that were for sale in Mississippi. Price on one was not bad but just out of the range that would allow my wife to let me live. Hope some one here got one or both of them.
The spare parts for the surge brake system are available from Toledo Actuators, but are not cheap. Here is their website. You can push in on the lunette and determine easily if the shock is still functional.

I am coming up on Saturday following the parade. Me to on when you need the deuce moved. I need to go up to Columbia SC and visit / sort MKT screening with Mike (SCSG-G4). I need a day there to do that work but am happy to drive / ride / turn wrenches. What are you planning to drive up and...
Folks,
Looking for some help getting a M116 trailer from Florida to Ohio. Weight of the trailer is about 800 lbs and is going to a member. Any one who can do all or part let me know and thanks.
Folks, if we think it will get use I am happy to drag the MKT up and we can use it to cook with the two propane fired burners. Vinnie, I could set it up on Friday afternoon and then bring it back with me on Sunday and it will have the pots and pans that you need. You guys will be on your own...

I will arrive at the staging area around 8 A.M. and you can look for my vehicle...
okay folks some info on the parade.
Start point is the Morgan Woods Elementary School in Town & Country (Tampa) and the parade begins at 10 A.M. The roads close at 9:30 A.M. so we have to be in the staging area before then and can start arriving as early as 7 A.M. I will get there around 8...
I think that we should appoint Zout as the "official" Georgia Rally bartender. Two small doses were enough for me. I think brother Jack had a bit to do with the death of brain cells as well.
Made it home around 2 a.m. Monday. No problems on the way home from the deuce except that the new MKT killed any hope of speed on hills. Overall fuel efficiency was okay and I am glad to be home.
Gimp,
Save some time on packing beer, let me know your choice and I will throw a couple of cases in with my stuff. Just a partial thanks for your help.
Always nice to see another 109 coming back to life. Make sure that you take care of any rust holes in the roof. The seams tend to rust easily and the insulation will absrob it and hold it like a sponge.
