If you've got a month to take off work and a few extra thousand dollars laying around, get a CDL.
(WA requires 160 hours in classroom training for a class A. No option avoid, unless your employer has an approved training program, you're just getting out of the...

It was about 1/2 that price ($65) when I bought it. Mainly for looking at power from the generators and some other (relatively) low frequency stuff.
Works ok. Definitely not the HP I've used before, but...
Yes.

I haven't done much looking at unbalanced 120V loads and how well the unit handles those.
If all the grief the ducks causes with the bus accident in Seattle didn't do much besides close on company, temporarily... Made no changes in WA state, much less federal... This won't even be a blip.
You could always coordinate with the power company to have them come pull the meter or unhook the splices where they hooked in. It'll cost some money, but...
Just be sure you're clear on what their standard to reconnect is. i.e. you find out that some other part of your system doesn't meet...
Word on FaceTwitSpace is it's been recovered:
"Update !!!! the LMTV has been found alive. The fire extinguisher was set off on the interior and there's something wrong with the passenger window, it won't roll up. But other than that it's intact."
Move everything you like away from the generator before you run it. It's gonna rain carbon for a few minutes. It'll be fine. Start with medium load and work your way up as the exhaust clears.
It counts anyone who bit the opening minimum before the auction started. I don't know what it was for this unit, but I can easily see a low enough bid I'd gladly have bought a spare engine and parts for.
Check the ground. It's based on a contact switch in the handle grounding out the alarm. The connection between the switch and the floor was bad on mine.
Because I'd turn my back on my buddy / dad / father in law / kid and they'd plug my drill / laptop / expensive thingy into it. It's the same reason I buy the 250V twist locks for the 240V tools instead of just using normal outlets and labeling them.
Reading these threads really makes me appreciate that I can leave my house at 0530, cruise down to JBLM, get on base, be loaded, and back at work by 10 AM.
Well, you'd expect at some point the batteries would be charged from the generator running and the current going to them would drop. It should stay in the green.
Having it sit in the negative is the problem space where you drain your batteries.

Gives a per leg reading and helps when trying to balance loads at the breaker box. Labeled on leg red and one black. Then colored each...
Honestly I'd start looking for one of the spill containment drums that a 55 gallon drum fits inside of to double wall it.
The fuel tank in my shed is double walled because I don't want to deal with a large spill.
Solenoid for sure.
Was moving firewood for the neighbor and got the first bag lifted and it shutdown. Turned in the override screw and it fired on the first crank. Kept running till I had it back home and undid the screw. Died instantly.
Thanks folks. Of course, I just fixed a leak in the...
Here's a video of it dying: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AnhaA1TwRcf6lac7cgM0BQ-_Ga2gWw
My first thought was the fuel filter, but it wasn't that. Thought air, but I'd have expected trouble starting after sitting instead of inability to start after it dies, but works great after sitting.
Overheating...
