I'm not interested in relocating lights. I don't mind drilling holes in the rear crossmember. I also would think that maybe welding the unit directly to the pintle mount would aid in strength. The flat plate that mounts to the rear crossmember just needs to be more narrow. Perhaps use 3/4 plate...
That looks like it works for a cargo but not the tractor. The lights are close to the pintle on tractors and you don't have the mounting bolts for the bumperetts since tractors don't have them.
I had one put on my ford truck. I can back up to a trailer like a pro every time, they are great if you get the right camera. I've been thinking about this for a while.
I'd take one as well. If you were closer I'd drive over so you could get the measurements you need. Maybe there is a member with a tractor close by that could loan his truck for a few hours ?
See if you can historic plate the vehicle. That's what I've done here in MO. No need for any inspection, just an odometer check and your good to go. Typically there are limits with historic plates though.
DH is probably right. Is the pressure regulator adjusted correctly. Get into the TM's located here on the site and use the search function in the forum. 99% of all questions have probably already been answered. Good luck and enjoy the toy !

The abs is on the rear most axle only and does not sound like your problem. I would loose air when my parking brake was off. When I put on the brake the air loss would stop.
