I agree. In my search to fix my issue I replaced all the rear diaphrams. The spring tension on this is great. One of my caging bolts even broke, scared the crap out of me. I spent huge amounts of time going through the TM's and the forum to become familiar with the trucks systems. It took 3...
two lines on one rear wheel were crossed. I looked at the other rear wheels and traced them from the actuator to the valve assembly to see if any were different. One rear tire was.
When I installed my air o steering I left off the regulating valve based on the recommendations of the forum and the installation instructions indicating it was optional. Works great over the last year with no issues. (edit for content)
The ecu will actually hold several codes. As explained earlier go through the diagnostic without the haldex box. It is very thorough. Download the TM's. There are two TM's that address ABS. A soldier 'B' is always good to help out because many of these checks require more that two hands...
I had the same issue with my 932. Luckily I had it trailered to my home. Took me 3 days and the help of a few members here on the forum to locate and switch the two air lines. What a pain in the a...............
Changed out my starter as well. I cleaned all the connections and checked the batteries. The connections between my batteries was almost melted off. I put two new connectors on cleaned everything up and good to go. I was glad that I had the issue with the starter because I had no other...
I know what you mean. It never ends. I've had my deuce for over 2 years now and I'm still fixing things. Like you I try to keep on top of things and repair before breaking. Stay with it. It will get better as the big repairs get done. Then you can work on getting cool stuff installed like gun...
Went to NAPA to order the dryer filter. I found the cheapest price on the internet and took it in and they beat the price. With taxes it ended costing the same as mail order.
I had the same issue. I pumped my brakes to keep pressures in check until it would stabilize. I will be putting in a new dryer for the tructor !
I agree having a good knowledge of the truck via the TM's, personal/professional experience and good trouble shooting skills . I went to drive the...

There are a couple of others that have done a slightly different approach. Be patient with the search function and keep trying. You'll find most the info you need.
Keep us posted. Good lesson in trouble shooting a fueling issue. I know I won't let my deuce get low or run out of fuel again. Because of this thread I've thought about using the best additive for the low sulphur fuels we now have. Jatonka's web page has a great article on this I will be...
I think you might have air in the system. Try purging the fuel lines again to make sure fuel is getting through. Some bad stuff might have gotten through the filters into the HH and is causing the issue also. Is the fuel shutoff working correctly and not closing on you ?
Well I had a similar problem when I found out that empty on my fuel gauge was at 1/4 tank !
I was able to reprime mine like you and make it to a station to fill up with diesel. I only run diesel in mine. I put in 25 gallons and a quart of Dex3 tranny fluid to help clean things up. The truck...
Great job ! There are always issues with these trucks when you get them. I don't know of anyone that hasn't had to do a few things to get them in good shape.
Now you'll be the expert we go to when we have these issues.
Not having a lot of luck finding a local pintle assembly. Does anyone know if you have to disassemble the trailer connector to get the pintle off or does the front face plate come off allowing you to pull the cable out the back intact ?
