Cork is in place and gear oil is "one knuckle below filler hole". Your method of adjustment is in an older tm. I did the adjustment with outer wheel off, and tried to make sure inner nut didn't turn when the outer was adjusted. Will try again, this way.
When I got my truck a year ago, the right rearmost axle was was leaking. I put in new seals and repacked the bearings. I adjusted the bearings according to the TM, torque inner nut to 50 lbs and back off 1/16 to 1/4 turn. Torque outer 100 to 200ftlbs. After a test drive the hub was hot to the...
I looked at the data plate on what I thought was my m105 trailer. It was marked xm105-e3. It was made by Checker in 1953. Is there a difference between them? Or is this just a earlier version of the m105?
When funds becomes available:
1. Oil filter adapters
2. Find and install better front fenders( mine are too rusted to salvage)
3. Repair hole in tool box bottom( have off the truck and here, winter project)
4. Change to new style brake light switch( easier now that tool box is off)
5. Paint...

My truck's manifold heater wasn't working so I chased it down to no spark. I bench tested the coil and could only hear some internal buzzing, but no spark. Where can I get another coil?
Jason a couple of years ago somebody on the "other m37 forum" made up a bunch for that truck. I would think there the same. I bought six at the time thinking someday I might need them. If you ask over there maybe somebody's (really anybody) memory is better than mine, could tell you who and...
I've been away from the internet for the last few days and just now saw the final price. WOW. I now know why I can't even draw a single number on a lotto ticket. I used up all my luck when I bought my dump and trailer at auction for $1100. It was missing the radiator and the starter need to be...
