I would like to use this pump as a spare. It looks close to the original except for the electrical hook-up and the intake screen is finer mesh. Anybody think it would work or know what it originally fit?
If its the old style box, the mounting brackets line up perfectly with the holes on the top center floor pan. The new style is bolted to the side of the glove box.
If you have room get a pressure pot and do it yourself, then its there any time you need it. Unless of course there is neighbor ussues or lack of a air compressor. My body shop buddy takes whole cars to somewhere near Flint. I'll find out tomorrow and let you know.

Your pictures are amazing, I can't imagine being inside as those big shells are slamming against the outside. What even more amazing( for this day and age) is I didn't see one piece of graffiti anywhere. No trash either.
Ebay has had the old style seat(complete) on a pretty regular basis. The newer style has been on less often. You might also try George at Vermont Commercial Salvage.
Some of the auto part chains have high temp engine paint, 1200 deg. They may have your color. Eastwood and POR make high temp manifold paint. This has held up very well on my m37.
Is there a reason you didn't come out the side of the pan? An unwanted object might snag the hose. :cry: I like the use of the steering shaft for a mounting spot.
I bought a new one last summer from Sam Winer in Ohio, it was $595. I see that they are now $695. Came two days after I ordered it. Was made somewhere in Pa if I remember right.
It may have not been the most dependable or long lasting, but in my humble opinion the wwii command car wc55,56,57 has to be the best looking. But for the longest service and most Recognizable to anybody is the deuce.
